Goretex shoe and helmet cover?
« on: October 24, 2010, 08:46:15 PM »
I was wondering if any of you tried the Goretex shoe or helmet cover. A friend of mine swear by the gore bike wear helmet cover and I was also looking at the shoe cover as well as my feet REALLY don't like riding in the winter. Thx

The helmet cover from Gore Bike Wear is indeed a popular product. It is the most sold Gore Bike Wear Accessories. As for the shoe cover I personally prefer to use a pair of Gore-Tex shoes as it is more parctical. But if it is pouring down with rain your feet will get wet anyway. If it is very cold, your feet are going to "freeze" anyway. So what is the point of having shoe covers? If it is very cold the only efficient thing to do is to use warmers. If anyone has another trick, I'll be happy to hear about it.
